Recurring Service Commitment & Cancellation Policy

Effective August 13, 2026

This policy applies to HawaiiWebSEO agreements accepted on or after August 13, 2026.

This policy explains how recurring service periods work, how billing is scheduled, what happens before the Subscription Start Date, and how cancellations, pauses, service concerns, and renewals are handled.

Scope

This policy applies to recurring service subscriptions: preconfigured Plans 1–4 and recurring Custom Service Plans, including Website Management, Search Engine Optimization, Google Ads Management, and Email Marketing. Website Build Only is not a recurring service. The recurring-service terms in this policy do not apply to it; its separate payment and cancellation terms appear below.

Selected service period

Recurring services are offered in 3-, 6-, and 12-month service periods. Each selected period is a firm commitment, and payments are billed monthly across that period rather than paid upfront.

The 3-month period is the regular price. The 6-month price is 10% below the regular 3-month base rate, and the Annual, or 12-month, price is 20% below it. One-time onboarding fees are separate from the monthly subscription rate and are not part of the duration discount.

Subscription Start Date

Subscription Start Date means the Website launch date when Website work is included. For services without Website work, it means the date recurring service begins. The selected service period begins on the Subscription Start Date.

Payment timing

The one-time onboarding fee is due on the Subscription Start Date. We do not collect it before that date.

The first monthly subscription invoice is issued on the Subscription Start Date. Later subscription invoices are issued monthly. Each monthly subscription invoice is due within 30 calendar days of its invoice date.

The 30-day payment window falls within the selected service period. It does not provide a separate trial or cancellation period.

Before the Subscription Start Date

For Website-inclusive work, cancellation before the Subscription Start Date incurs no fees, and any payment received is refunded. For services without Website work, the same applies when cancellation occurs before the Subscription Start Date.

Client-caused launch delays

If HawaiiWebSEO is otherwise ready to launch but cannot do so because required client content, access, approvals, or consolidated feedback is missing, we will provide written notice identifying what is needed and allow at least 10 business days to provide it. The Subscription Start Date then becomes the earlier of the actual launch date or the 30th calendar day after that notice. If the service period begins under this provision, the onboarding fee becomes due and the first monthly subscription invoice is issued on the Subscription Start Date.

Cancellation during a selected period

A cancellation request does not automatically end the selected commitment or its scheduled monthly payments. Early release from a selected service period is available only through a case-by-case mutual written agreement. When we consider such a request, we look at consistent business-related factors, such as work already completed, work already scheduled, third-party commitments, and the remaining portion of the selected period.

Approved pauses

A mutually approved written pause suspends service and billing for the agreed pause period. Billing resumes when service resumes, and the selected service period is extended by the same amount of time.

Service concerns and cure

If you have a material service concern, send written notice describing the issue. HawaiiWebSEO will have 15 calendar days to address it.

Urgent issues

Security, account-access, billing, and active ad-spend issues receive prompt attention. Where reasonably practicable, HawaiiWebSEO will begin corrective action within one business day.

Renewal

Plans do not renew automatically. Continuing service after the selected period ends requires you to choose and accept another service period.

Formal notice

Cancellation, pause, cure, and other formal notices under this policy must be sent to ryan@hawaiiwebseo.com.

Invoice confirmation

Your invoices will show the Subscription Start Date, service period, monthly rate, onboarding fee, payment due date, and the number of monthly payments remaining.

Website Build Only

Website Build Only is a one-time $2,750 service due at launch. The recurring-service terms above do not apply. If you cancel before launch, no fee is due, and any payment received will be refunded.
